It is by God's grace that we have been saved - not because I have been good or have done good things. (Ephesians 2:8-9)
I pray for grace when I have to get through a situation I do not really like. So I may handle the situation and not let myself look like an embarrassing fool.
My day to day life as a stay-at-home wife and mother is exhausting on its own, I ask for grace when I have to deal with my very active toddler who tests my limit every so often. I also need grace when my husband has to work late nights or when he has to go away on business trips.
There would be instances when I feel like the grace is wearing off, I need to be reminded how God's grace is sufficient and how His power is made perfect in weakness. (2 Corinthians 12:9)
Every time I say I cannot or do not want to, in reality I can because --
And God is able to make all grace (every favor and [a]earthly blessing) come to you in abundance, so that you may always and under all circumstances and whatever the need [b]be self-sufficient [possessing enough to require no aid or support and furnished in abundance for every good work and charitable donation].- 2 Corinthians 9:8 (Amplified Bible)
The sign is right all along, grace is a way to live. May our every day life be filled with God's grace.
