Own Your Purpose (Small Change #3)

The other day after getting excited on a new project, I told my best friend/soul sister how I feel like I have a purpose again.

According to the author, purpose is the key to doing what we have to do to live out God's plan for us.

We all want to have a purpose in life. We all want to feel we exist, that we matter.

God's purpose for our lives are these three --

Determine to obey God

Develop a greater trust in the Lord

Devote your life to becoming more like Christ

I am holding on to His promise of eternal life. Who wouldn't want that, right? At some point I will meet my Creator and I have to be prepared when that time comes.

We need to grow our spiritual life. God expects us to grow spiritually. He wants us to know Him more and more everyday.

My life list includes my husband, my son, my mother, my siblings and my in-laws. And these are the people God has placed in my life which now becomes a part of His purpose for my life which I have to invest time, effort, energy and money.
If the only thing you ever leave behind is a godly imprint upon your family, then you will have lived out one of God's grandest purpose.
God wants me to take care of my health and my body. I'm probably on the right track with having the motivation to get fit by finding the time to exercise. Slowly, I will get rid of all those bad habits (overindulgence especially with food). He has entrusted me stewardship of my body so I will not be a bad shape or fallen ill in the future.

How I wish I could be more active in church and have the time to serve others. Those are my goals in the future. For now, I am doing my best to share God's goodness and faithfulness using social media praying that it reaches as many people as possible.

For today, I would look to God, not myself, for direction when it comes to planning for my life.

For tomorrow, I will be grateful for a new day and remember that it is not my day but His day.

For this week, focus on these three things: my walk with God, watching over my family and loved ones, and watching over myself.
